Water-based inks and maintenance fluids used in DTF, DTG, UV, and other compatible printing systems can conduct electricity if they come into contact with exposed electronic components. The included water-resistant silicone sealant creates a protective barrier around appropriate printhead and cable areas, helping reduce the risk of electrical damage caused by accidental ink, cleaning-solution, or flushing-fluid spills.
Choose the Silicone Sealing Kit for preventive sealing protection, or select the Sealing Kit + 10 Splash Absorbing Strips for additional spill control during printhead flushing, damper changes, and other maintenance procedures.
Designed for use with Epson printheads, both options include video instructions to guide proper sealant application.

About the Splash Absorbing Strips: Each strip can absorb and hold up to 6 cc of liquid. Position the strips around the printhead during flushing or damper changes, or near the syringe to help capture accidental spills. For additional spill protection, using 2 strips at a time is recommended.
Not Included with Either Option: Printhead, printhead cables, small thin flat screwdriver, small star screwdriver, and scissors.
