XTREME Cleaning Solution is a strong-formula printer maintenance solution developed for two specific applications: flushing ink from continuous ink tubing and addressing stubborn or extreme printhead clogs.

When used for printhead cleaning, XTREME is intended as a last-resort option for persistent clogs. Regular Cleaning Solution should be tried first, with XTREME used when a stronger cleaning approach is required.

The solution also supports ink-system maintenance by flushing existing ink from continuous ink tubing, particularly when changing ink types or clearing ink from the tubing. Depending on the printer system, it can be used with compatible damper/CIS-based setups or through cleaning cartridges in cartridge-based systems.

Important: XTREME Cleaning Solution is not intended for wet capping.

Use Instructions

For Printhead Clogs

Use regular Cleaning Solution first for printhead cleaning. If a stubborn or extreme clog remains, XTREME Cleaning Solution can be used as the stronger, last-resort cleaning option.

For compatible damper/CIS-based systems, flush the printhead with XTREME Cleaning Solution according to the appropriate printer maintenance procedure.

For compatible cartridge-based systems, fill compatible cleaning cartridges with the solution and run up to 3 cleaning cycles.

For Ink Tubing Flushing

Use XTREME Cleaning Solution to flush existing ink from continuous ink tubing when clearing the ink system or preparing to change ink types.
